What data is collected
1. Email correspondence
If you write to the address published on this site, I receive your email address, your name and the content of your message. I use them solely to reply and, where relevant, to discuss working together.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – my legitimate interest in corresponding with people interested in my services. If the conversation leads to an agreement, the basis becomes Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Retention: business correspondence is kept for up to 3 years from the last contact; contract documentation for as long as tax law requires.
2. Visit statistics (Google Analytics 4)
I use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit the site, which sections they read and where they come from. It stores the cookies _ga and _ga_42FH917CZY in your browser and sends Google data about the visit: approximate location, device type, browser, pages viewed and referral source.
Analytics only starts after your consent. Until you click “Accept” in the banner, Google Consent Mode blocks analytics storage. If you choose “Essential only”, no analytics cookies are set and the site works exactly the same.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR – your consent. You can withdraw it at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
Retention: Google Analytics cookies expire 2 years after the last visit. In the Google Analytics interface, both event data and user data are retained for 14 months — counted from that person’s last activity on the site.
3. Server logs
The hosting provider automatically records technical access logs, including IP address and browser type. They serve only to keep the site secure and working correctly.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in maintaining the security of the service.
Who the data is shared with
I use the following providers, which process data on my behalf:
| Provider | Role | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Google Ireland Limited | Analytics (Google Analytics 4) | Visit data, cookie identifier |
| Google Ireland Limited | Email (Google Workspace) | Content of correspondence |
| Netlify, Inc. | Website hosting | Access logs, IP address |
I do not sell data and do not pass it to third parties for marketing purposes.
Transfers outside the EEA
Google and Netlify belong to groups with entities in the United States, so data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. This takes place under the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the Commission.
Your rights
In connection with the processing of your data you have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy of it,
- rectify inaccurate or incomplete data,
- erasure of your data,
- restriction of processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest,
- withdraw consent at any time,
- lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
To exercise any of these, write to adrianna@jaksinaconsulting.com.
Cookies
The site stores your consent choice in your browser’s local storage (localStorage, key jc-consent). This is a technical entry needed so the banner does not reappear on every visit – it contains no identifying data and is not shared with anyone.
All other cookies come solely from Google Analytics and are only set once you have given consent. You can delete them at any time in your browser settings.
Profiling
I do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, including profiling, that would produce legal effects.
Changes
If the scope of processing changes, I will update this document and the date at the top of the page.
